No date now for Health Partners project off Fillmore
A long-planned Westside medical campus by Colorado Springs Health Partners (CSHP) is on hold.
Once planned for spring of 2010, there is now “no firm date” for the project, according to CSHP spokesperson Lynn Jones.
With parking and landscaping, the building has been envisioned to take up about a third of a 44-acre area south of Fillmore Street on Centennial Boulevard.
Currently the consortium of doctors is constructing a building in the Briargate area, Jones said. However, the Fillmore/Centennial project is still on the radar. “We're still having discussions and considering the best use of the space,” she said “We'll be there, we're just not there yet.”
The spring 2010 prediction had been made in April 2008 during an interview with CSHP's then-Acting CEO Jeff Milburn.
