Displays but no one-on-ones at Aug. 24 meeting

In an update to plans for the Westside 24 public meeting Thursday, Aug. 24, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will put out displays at 5:30 p.m., but because of manpower needs related to the 6 p.m. group presentation there will be no one-on-one opportunities with engineers, project spokesperson Kyle Blakely said this week.
The displays will be in the band room, cafeteria and dance room at the West Intergenerational Center, 25 N. 20th St. The presentation, followed by a question- answer session with attendees from the public, will continue until 8 p.m. in the West auditorium.
The meeting is the ninth since November 2004.
