Meet a Westsider:
Checker/cashier at King Soopers on the Mesa.
What I like most about the Westside is... the people and the little shops. Every-one is so nice and down to earth here.
If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... awesome to have a game place (like an arcade) for kids and families to go to.
A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “The Lord of the Rings.” I saw the movie and then read the books.
I'd like to discover... the Fountain of Youth, if it existed. Although, if you stay young at heart, you’ll always be young.
If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... Orlando Bloom, the actor who played the elf in “The Lord of the Rings.”
The next time I travel, I’m going to... Hawaii. I’d love to go there someday. And Rome, Italy, because it has so much rich history, which is one of my favorite subjects.
My favorite childhood memory is... visting my grandparents in Rocky Ford when I was about 7 years old and staying for a week with my dad, brothers and sister. It was nice seeing my grandparents. My grandmother was a great cook. She made the best homemade tortillas and green chili.
My favorite summer pastime is... relaxing and hanging out with my family and friends. Summer is my favorite time of the year,
Something good I’ve read is.. “Scarlett,” by Alexandra Ripley. It is the sequel to “Gone With the Wind.” I feel the author was very true to the characters.
My pet peeve is... when people are inconsiderate of each other.
If I didn’t have to work for a year I would... like to travel around the world and also visit my family (aunts, uncles, cousins.)
