Meet a Westsider:
I work for Sovereign Bank, specializing in financing fire trucks and emergency equipment
for municipal government entities. I also volunteer at Rock Ledge Ranch Living History
Association and hold the publicity chair.
What I like most about the Westside is... the friendly, small town atmosphere! The beauty! The wildlife all around us! And of course... Rock Ledge Ranch!
If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... to decrease traffic on 31st Street. Try to get people more involved with Westside volunteer opportunities and activities.
A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “Evan Almighty.”
The worst advice I’ve ever gotten was... how about best advice? Try to do something meaningful and good every day, and people are more important than things!
If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... He wasn’t famous, but I’d like to meet my dad. He passed away when I was 5 and I’d love to have him meet his grandchildren.
The next time I travel, I’m going to... Catalina Island, California.
My favorite childhood memory is... spending summers with my Aunt Helen in Kansas. We did craft projects, and spent time with other aunts, uncles and cousins galore!
My favorite summer pastime is... hanging out at Valley Swim Club, gardening, early morning walks with my dogs and doing anything outside!!
Something good I’ve read is.. “Full of Grace,” by Dorothea Benton Frank.
My pet peeve is... rude people.
If I won the lottery, I’d... pay off our house, donate some and take a vacation!
