Prescription drug card from county

       El Paso County has begun offering a prescription discount card, in a joint effort with the National Association of Counties (NACo) and Caremark.
       The cards are available to any county resident at all El Paso County buildings and at community partner locations listed at www.elpasoco.com. Listed on the Westside are Community Partnership for Child Development (CPCD - Head Start), 2330 Robinson St.; Goodwill store, 2304 W. Colorado Ave.; and the El Paso County Department of Human Services, 105 and 17 N. Spruce St.
       Benefitting will be uninsured and underinsured people and even some people with insurance in certain circumstances, according to El Paso County County Commissioner Sallie Clark.
      
       Legend and Legacy, a 30-year acting group that specializes in skits about Pikes Peak region history, will give a show at Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site Thursday, July 30 at 7 p.m.
       The free show will be augmented with original and traditional music.
       Rock Ledge Ranch is off Gateway Road at North 30th Street, across from the Garden of the Gods Visitors Center.

       The Trails and Open Space Coalition will have its annual Gala in the Garden fundraiser at Rock Ledge Ranch Friday, Aug. 7 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
       Tickets are $40. With a “tropical island escape” theme, offerings will include food, live music, contests and a silent auction.
       Located at 1040 S. Eighth St., the Coalition advocates for trails and open space,
