       Manitou store relocates
A “grand reopening” of the Green Soul retail shop, including door prizes and refreshments, is scheduled Saturday, June 9 from 3 to 6 p.m.
The business at 2421 ˝ W. Colorado Ave. offers a “variety of imported fair trade crafts, local handmade arts and crafts and environmentally friendly items such as solar lights,” according to owner/operator Kristin Lee.
She had opened the shop in Manitou Springs a year ago, but decided to relocate when she found a space in Old Colorado City that is larger and has better exposure. “Also, the availability of parking for shoppers that OCC has but Manitou lacks is a bonus,” Lee said. “It is just a fantastic location, putting the shop in the middle of attractions like the Art Walk and festivals at Bancroft Park.”
       The business is open daily.
