Farmers Market opens June 7
Entering its 21st season, the weekly Old Colorado City Farmers' Market will reopen Saturday morning, June 7 on 24th Street next to Bancroft Park, between
Colorado and Pikes Peak avenues.
The times will be 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Organized by the non-profit Pikes Peak Farmers' Market group, the outdoor market will continue on Saturdays through October, market president Frank Schmidt said.
About 25 vendors will be on hand for opening day, most of them Colorado growers offering fresh vegetables and fruits, he added.
