If you find a Red Rock fossil...

       One of the drawbacks to a paleontology study in a public place such as Red Rock Canyon Open Space is people “picking stuff up without a permit,” explained Michael Poltenovage, who, with Sharon Molito, has a collection permit from the state for that property.
