Suspect sought in Westside shooting death

A suspect is still being sought in the shooting May 15 that left a 25-year-old Colorado Springs man dead in a driveway on West Colorado
       Avenue.
Mark Bobian was found dead outside a house at 2121 W. Colorado. Police said Bobian did not live at that address. He reportedly had a long
       criminal record,
Police are still trying to determine if the shooting was connected with a loud party there earlier that night or to a burglary the previous night.
“We're still following up a lot of leads, but there's nothing solid right now,” said Sal Fiorillo of the Colorado Springs Police Department's
Homicide Unit. One possibility is that there had been a “disturbance” at the party. “We think it had something to do with the earlier disturbance,”
Fiorillo said. “We're trying to ID everyone who was at the party.”
The murder is the second on the Westside this year that is unsolved. Patricia Gonzales-Arvizu was knifed to death Jan. 26 in the A-1 Mobile
Home Park at 1025 Garner Street.
Anyone with information about either of these deaths is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 444-7613.
