Full house again for OCCHS fashions
After turning back the clock to the 1800s for fashion shows at the Old Colorado City History Center in previous years, vintage clothing designer Rita Wilhelm stayed
in the 20th century for the fifth annual event May 13.
In the year's first fund-raiser for the Old Colorado City Historical Society (OCCHS), the show was once again a sell-out, with close to 70 people sitting at decorated tables in the center, enjoying lunch and tea and Wilhelm's four models displaying 30 garments between the 1910s and the 1980s. Now a Canon City resident and the founder of the Victorian Heritage Society of Colorado, Wilhelm formerly had a shop in Colorado Springs called Seasons Past.
