Cancer Society benefits from Car Show

       The Hub Car Wash & Diner will host its third annual Car Show to benefit the American Cancer Society Saturday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
       The Hub will donate money for every car washed during that time. There will also be a barbecue and music.
       The location is 4460 Forest Hill Road, off Garden of the Gods Road.
       Entry fees for cars are $15. All entries are welcome.

       The grand opening of photographer Kathleen McFadden's Range Gallery will be Saturday, May 15 from 6 to 9 p.m.
       The gallery is at 2428 W. Colorado Ave.
       Originally from Amarillo, Texas, McFadden has worked in the photography business for 26 years and had a shop in Manitou Springs before moving it to the Westside this spring.
       She works exclusively in film photography, selecting from a collection of about 30 cameras in pursuit of the effects she likes, she said.
       A recent interest is panoramic photography, including 180-degree images presented in a curved frame.
       Other services in the business include film scanning, printing, photo restoration and custom picture framing.
       The Range Gallery is open every day but Tuesday.

       A free open forum for the grand opening of Ancients Healing Arts Massage and Reiki will be hosted by Reiki Master Misty Dawn and Licensed Massage Therapist Rob Fortier Wednesday, May 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Celebration Conscious Living Store Community Room, 2209 W. Colorado Ave.
       Also offered will be free massages, Reiki demonstrations, guided meditation, contemplation and group discussions.
