National honor for Wyse’s Reflections entry

A Coronado High School student's video, created for the Reflections competition, has earned an Award of Excellence from the national PTA.
CHS junior Kylie Wyse was recognized in a ceremony at her school this week. Reflections is PTA-sponsored competition to encourage students in the arts.
Wyse's video is titled “Grafitti Falls.” In keeping with this year's Reflections “My Favorite Place” theme, it focuses on a secluded place near Manitou Springs where she likes to go.
She had received the Gold Award from the Colorado PTA at state competition as well as the Mary Lou Anderson Award for Original Interpretation, an honor given to the best entry advancing to the state level from all art categories and all age divisions.
