Construction season is in full swing, as seen (right) by the tall new house on Pikes Peak Avenue above 26th Street and (below) the back view of
a one-story historic brick building being restored in the 2400 hundred block of West Colorado Avenue. A December 2002 fire destroyed all the
building except its facade, wiping out four retail
businesses.
