Dressage ‘Spectacular’ April 25

       The Dressage for the Cure at the Peak April 24-26 will benefit Renee's Friends Fund, a Colorado organization that assists breast cancer survivors.
       Presented by the Colorado Springs Dressage Association, the event at the Norris Penrose Event Center's Indoor Arena will be climaxed by the Evening under the Lights Spectacular Saturday, April 25 starting at 6:30 p.m. Featured will be a vaulting demonstration, dressage, drill teams and the Ft. Carson Mounted Color Guard, a press release states.
       Attendance for the Spectacular is $10 at the door and $8 in advance (contact Heather Petersen at 683-8435 or slush@drgw.net).
       There also will be a silent auction fundraiser and a chance to watch dressage for free during the weekend from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
       Renee's Friends Fund, started in 2004, aids cancer-stricken Colorado women of middle to low incomes with expenses that are normally not covered by insurance.
