Meet a Westsider:
Elizabeth Calhoun

Profession/Occupation... Owner/director of the Wooden Shoe Day Care.

What I like most about the Westside is... everything! The small town atmosphere, good neighbors, tall trees, birds, squirrels. I love it all.

If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... I canít think of a thing I would change.

A good movie Iíve seen recently is... I really havenít seen many movies lately. I think the last one I saw was ďThe Grinch That Stole Christmas,Ē with my grandchildren.

The worst advice Iíve ever gotten was... Donít do today what you can put off for tomorrow. (Itís so easy to do.)

If I could meet someone famous, Iíd like to meet... John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan. Also, F.D.R., he made quite an impact on our living during the Depression.

The next time I travel, Iím going to... Maine, to see my grandchildren. They are fun to work with and observe; they are so funny!

My favorite childhood memory is... Picking berries with my mother and brothers and sisters. At the time, I didnít think it was much fun, but the good jams and jellies were worth it!

My favorite winter pastime is... enjoying a snowy day at home.

Something good Iíve read is.. I read the Bible every day, but I think ďAnne of Green Gables,Ē is one of my favorite books of all time.

My pet peeve is... rudeness Ė there is no excuse for it.

If I won the lottery, Iíd... pay off my sonís student loans, both college and seminary. Heís worked so hard for his education and it takes so long to pay it off.
