Meet a Westsider:
Cheryl Green

Profession/Occupation... attendance secretary at West Middle School.

What I like most about the Westside is... it’s a friendly, small community. If you break down, someone always stops to help.

If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... add a family restaurant in the old Furr’s on Uintah.

A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “Sweet Home Alabama.” “Be true to yourself and follow your heart.” The worst advice I’ve ever gotten was... from my husband reading a map while I was driving – whoa!

If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... George Straight. He has a way with words, and his family comes first, also.

The next time I travel, I’m going to... learn how to read a map and go back to Nashville and Las Vegas.

My favorite childhood memory is... my grandfather, the time he had for me, the stories and fishing trips. He was always there.

My favorite winter pastime is... walking and watching the snow come down while camping in it and drinking hot chocolate.

Something good I’ve read is.. “White Death,” by Clive Clusser.

My pet peeve is... someone hanging up on me, on the phone.

If I won the lottery, I’d... get a newer camper, gather up my family and travel the USA a month or two and spend the rest on my grandbabies.

Meet a Westsider” is a regular feature in the Westside Pioneer. If you would like to be a Meet-a-Westsider (or know someone who should be), please give us a call at 471-6776.
