Meet a Westsider:
‘Rusty’

Profession/Occupation... carriage horse, former racehorse.

What I like most about the Westside is... the food in Pine Creek Gallery’s haybox.

If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... rerouting 18-wheelers to Highway 24!

A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “Seabiscuit,” of course! The worst advice I’ve ever gotten was... move into the country. I’ve found life in Old Town much more exciting!

If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... Ralph Neigh-der.

The next time I travel, I’m going to... sit in first class!

My favorite childhood memory is... when I’d be coming down the home stretch!

My favorite winter pastime is... figure skating!

Something good I’ve read is.. the bathroom walls at Meadow Muffins!

My pet peeve is... there aren’t any carrot trees in Old Colorado City!

If I won the lottery, I’d... buy Churchill Downs and teach those young’ns a thing or two!

Thanks to Mike at 3G’s Front Range Carriage Service for serving as Rusty’s interpreter for this special April Fool’s Meet a Westsider!
