Library given mammoth bone

After giving a recent talk on dinosaurs at an Old Colorado City Library children's storytime, Everybody Loves Dinosaurs owner Deanna Kisel gave the library something else - a piece of a woolly mammoth bone.
The library put the roughly 18-inch North Sea artifact on display this week.
Receiving the bone “was a total surprise,” said Susan Clark, children's specialist for the Old Colorado City and Fountain branch libraries. “It's a real neat thing to give to the library.”
The Old Colorado City store owner said she made the donation “so everyone can get a chance to see a woolly mammoth bone. When I was growing up, I always liked dinosaurs and woolly mammoths, but I had to go all the way to a museum to see one. Now people can see one at the library.”
