Volunteers requested for highway trash pickup near Red Rock Canyon

Volunteers are welcome to join a trash pick-up Saturday, March 29 along a mile of highway (in front of Red Rock Canyon Open Space) that's adopted by Scenic Colorado.
The meeting place will be the northwest corner of Highway 24 at Ridge Road at 9:30 a.m.
Orange bags and vests will be provided. Participants are asked to wear long pants and bring gloves.
The work typically takes about two hours, according to local Scenic Colorado leader Larry Barrett.
For more information, his numbers are 634-4468 or 964-0825.
