Bancroft Park set for Easter Egg Hunt
Easter “eggs” by the hundreds will be strewn around the Bancroft Park lawns Saturday, March 22 for the annual hunt, sponsored by the Old Colorado City
Associates merchants group.
Westside residents are particularly invited for the annual event, which will start at 12:30 p.m. sharp. Three age groups (1-2, 3-4 and 5-8) will take off simultaneously. The prizes will be egg-shaped plastic containers holding candy, small toys or notes about prizes.
Activities will begin an hour earlier in the park, with live music, games, treats and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Bear Cave Imports has moved west to 3602 W. Colorado Ave. The business, which had been at 27th and Colorado, offers imports from Mexico, including rugs, tile, sinks, furniture and jewelry.

Cents of the Past has relocated to 2801 W. Colorado, Suite 10 in the Amarillo Hotel. The business, a coin and antique gallery started last year by Bernie Durance, was in the avenue's 2700 block.

Westside artist Mr. Eugene will be hand-painting eggs inside the Holly Leaf store Thursday through Saturday, March 20-22. The Holly Leaf is at 2514 W. Colorado Ave., #101.
The Colorado Springs Osteopathic Foundation's Center for Osteopathic Education & Research has received a three-year Category 1-A CME Sponsor Re-Accreditation from the American Osteopathic Association Council on Continuing Medical Education.
