Fundraiser for youth with rare embolism
The Carey-On Saloon, 3350 N. Chestnut St., will present Ms. Molly's Western Cabaret Thursday, March 26 as a fundraiser for Michael Olson a 17-
year-old boy facing immediate surgeries for a pulmonary embolism that is rare for his age.
Proceeds from the event will go to the family, who live in the Rockrimmon area.
At a cost of $25 ($40 for a couple), the 6 p.m. show includes dinner.

Owner Darren Wrin has relocated his business, Migun, to 2423 1/2 W. Colorado Ave., joining Healthy Alternatives in that space. He sells Migun thermal massage beds, and both businesses sell health-promoting products.
Bill Morgan is the owner of Healthy Alternatives, which offers thermal massage bed sessions, as well as hand and foot treatment sessions.

After an on-site visit and peer review process, CARF International recently gave Goodwill Industries of Colorado Springs a three-year accreditation for its programs serving individuals with developmental disabilities.
According to Laura Marth, a spokesperson for the Westside-based non-profit agency, “this accreditation is the highest level that can be awarded to an organization and marks the 12th consecutive rating for Goodwill.”
CARF (Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities), is an independent, nonprofit accrediting body.
Liberty Tax Service, which has an office on the Westside, will be presenting a free tax seminar for small businesses Wednesday, April 1 at the Old Town GuestHouse, 115 S. 26th St., from 6 to 8 p.m. The intent is to assist small businesses with the changes in the current tax laws.
