Meet a Westsider:
Scott Thompson

Profession/Occupation... City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services.

What I like most about the Westside is... the community feel. You can still get away from the “hustle and bustle” of the city.

If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... not a thing. The rest of the city is a different story for another time.

A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “Holes.” The worst advice I’ve ever gotten was... I can’t think of any bad advice that I’ve actually paid attention to.

If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... Al Franken.

The next time I travel, I’m going to... Glenwood Springs.

My favorite childhood memory is... running around the Panorama Drive neighborhood with our “neighborhood gang.”

My favorite winter pastime is... relaxing with my family and hiking in the snow.

Something good I’ve read is.. “For Whom the Bell Tolls.”

My pet peeve is... ignorance.

If I won the lottery, I’d... breathe a sigh of relief knowing I can probably afford college for my two sons.

Meet a Westsider” is a regular feature in the Westside Pioneer. If you would like to be a Meet-a-Westsider (or know someone who should be), please give us a call at 471-6776.
