Meet a Westsider:
Vicki Keeney

Profession/Occupation... I am the owner of Visions in Glass. I do custom glass engraving and chemical etching.

What I like most about the Westside is... the hometown feeling and the close-knit communi ty of neighbors. I am a native Coloradan and have lived on the Westside since 1987.

If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... fix the traffic flow on 31st street, clean up some of the vacant lots, and add a few more good restaurants.

A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “Walk the Line” – just saw it last night and thought it was great.

The worst advice I’ve ever gotten was... Can’t think of the worst but the best was only believe what you see and hear for yourself!

If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... Oprah Winfrey – I admire all she does for others and her enormous energy and drive.

The next time I travel, I’m going to... either New Zealand or a cruise to Alaska – both are places hubby and I want to visit.

My favorite childhood memory is... I have two – spending time on my grandfather’s farm on weekends and during the summer months and driving around town at Christmas just to see all the lights (which we still do!).

My favorite winter pastime is... being outdoors, getting geared up for the holidays, and getting ready for the holiday craft fairs.

Something good I’ve read is.. I love John Grisham books, I have them all and can’t wait for his next one.

My pet peeve is... drivers blocking intersections and a general lack of courtesy among drivers on the streets.

If I won the lottery, I’d... I would help make sure our families were taken care of, and then we would travel more and take life easier.
