Ballroom dancing taught at Carriage Stop
Area dance leaders Ron Counts and Kit Galvin, who are known for their “hoedowns” (square and round dances), are now holding ballroom-dancing nights every first
and third Saturdays, 7-9 p.m., at the Carriage Stop, 2700 W. Robinson St. in the Midland Area.
The cost is $5 a person. No experience (or a partner) is necessary. The main instructor is Anne Traver, who formerly taught the teachers at an Arthur Murray dance studio, Galvin said. For more information, call 598-8624.
