Avenue lane loss for interchange project scheduled in block west of I-25 March 13-17 In a daytime impact from the Cimarron/I-25 project, eastbound Colorado Avenue, n the block between Walnut Street and the interstate, is scheduled to be reduced to one lane Monday, March 13 through Friday, March 17 from 9 a.m. 3 p.m.The right lane is the one that will be closed, a press release states. Crews with project contractor Kraemer North America will need the space for “sign structure work,” the release adds. Previous work south of Colorado Avenue has involved bank stabilization on the west side of the interstate related to the alignment change for the northbound off- ramp. The $113 million interchange replacement project started in May 2015 and is slated for completion by this December.
