Clark sets receptions leading up to caucuses
Westsider Sallie Clark, a Republican county commissioner candidate for District 3, has scheduled receptions for current or
anticipated Republican delegates leading up to the El Paso County Republican Caucus April 13 and County Assembly May 1.
The receptions will be as follows:
- Mar. 4, Stagecoach Inn, 702 Manitou Ave., Manitou Springs.
- Mar. 22, Paravicini's Italian Bistro, 2802 W. Colorado Ave.
- Mar. 25, Nemeth's El Tejon, 1005 S. Tejon St.
Each will be from 6-8 p.m., including light appetizers and a cash bar.
Existing Republican delegates were chosen at caucuses before the previous election. Delegates vote at party assemblies to select their nominees.
Would-be delegates need to go to their neighborhood caucuses April 13.
“This is an important opportunity to participate in the future of our community,” Clark said.
She is a business owner, officer in the Organization of Westside Neighbors and former Colorado Springs City Council member.
Other announced candidates for District 3 are also Republicans - Michael Kazmierski and John Gloriod, both Cheyenne residents.
