Head Start program seeks volunteers for clients, resource book

Community Partnership for Child Development (CPCD), 2330 Robinson St., requests bilingual volunteers to assist with Head
Start enrollment through August. Volunteers will escort Spanish-speaking families, assist parents with paperwork, make sure
their questions are answered and help children in receiving free dental and medical exams.
Also needed is an administrative volunteer to update a booklet of community agencies and resources available to families in need. CPCD is the local grantee for the Head Start and Early Head Start programs, and offers free, early childhood-development programs to needy families. For more information, call 635-1536 x233.
