Meet a Westsider:
Owner of Coda Café.
What I like most about the Westside is... the beauty, the art and the people.
If I could change anything about the Westside, it would be... all the building. The impact it has on the wildlife and the way it is changing the pristine view is really a shame.
A good movie I’ve seen recently is... “Dreamgirls” – being a musician myself, I was extremely impressed by the music, as well as the acting. Jennifer Hudson really was amazing!
The worst advice I’ve ever gotten was... I don't base my decisions on people's advice so it's kind of irrelevant.
If I could meet someone famous, I’d like to meet... Jesus – I have lots of questions! There would be too many people living that I would love to meet. Between musicians, authors, spiritual leaders, and humanitarians, I would really have a hard time choosing.
The next time I travel, I’m going to... see my family in Florida.
My favorite childhood memory is... going to Indiana for two weeks every summer and going to Cincinnati Reds games with my family.
My favorite winter pastime is... watching football. I also like taking black and white outdoor photos during winter.
Something good I’ve read is.. “Marley and Me” – I have a yellow lab puppy so I could totally relate to this family's trials with their yellow lab! “The Effects of Light” – this is a fictional story but it incorporates some philosophical content about the interpretation of art. I found it very thought-provoking. “Reason for Hope,” by Jane Goodall – this was a really inspiring book about humankind and it's relationship with the planet and some of the inhabitants thereof, namely primates.
My pet peeve is... people who whine a lot.
If I won the lottery, I’d... invest, set up trust funds for 10 families, open an animal shelter, and do a lot of traveling.
