PPACG holds public open house on draft transportation plan

The Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG) will hold an open house Tuesday, Feb. 19, on its draft 2035 Regional Transportation Plan (nicknamed “Moving Forward”).
The event, free and open to the public, will be at the PPACG office, 14 S. Chestnut St. from 4 to 7 p.m. The open house is part of the 30-day public comment period that will continue to March 5.
The plan, including area road-project priorities, has been drafted over the past several months. The PPACG board, consisting of elected officials from government entities in the region, is scheduled to vote on the plan at its monthly meeting March 12.
