City seeks public input at community water meeting

A “community meeting” to help the city update its water conservation plan will be hosted by Colorado Springs Utilities Tuesday, Feb. 13.
The get-together is scheduled at the Conservation and Environmental Center (informally known as the xeriscape building) at 2855 Mesa Road from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The meeting will be a follow-up to a public meeting on the plan last year, according to Natilia Sibert of Utilities. “We never want to make decisions without hearing from customers,” she said.
Topics of discussion will include rates, rebates, ordinances, education and audits.
