Public can comment on 2035 transpo plan
The public is invited to review the draft 2035 Regional Transportation Plan and provide comments.
Containing studies for roads as well as other mobility possibilities in the region up to the year 2035, the plan is “a blueprint for transportation beyond just highways,” said Jennifer Young of the Pikes Peak Area Council of Governments (PPACG), which developed the document.
Comments are being taken until March 5, with the PPACG board (consisting of elected officials from area governments) scheduled to vote on it at its March 12 monthly meeting.
People can review the 2035 plan on line at ppacg.org, by contacting Young at PPACG offices, 15 S. 7th St.. or calling her at 471-7080, extension 127.
