New flavor for opera; tattoo convention
Patsy's Candies, 1540 S. 21st St., has created a new chocolate as part of its sponsorship of the Opera Theatre of the Rockies' Pikes Peak Center
production of “Carmen.”
The chocolate, called Carmen Temptations, will be on sale as a benefit to the opera through the two scheduled “Carmen” performances March 1-2.

Above Suspicion Tattoo, 621 W. Colorado Ave., helped organize the first Colorado Springs “Tattoo Arts Festival,” which will be Feb. 8-10.
According to Paes164, owner of Above Suspicion, it took about a year to obtain the necessary law changes and health approvals to allow the event, which will be at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at I-25 and South Circle Drive.
“For some people this will be an opportunity to be tattooed by some of the best the industry has to offer, and I thought this could be something positive for the tattoo industry here in Colorado Springs,” Paes said.
