3rd annual West Elementary carnival
West Elementary will host its third annual winter carnival Friday, Feb. 3.
Open to the community, the fundraising event will feature games - including ones with prize opportunies, such as the cake walk and soda-pop bottle ring toss - in classrooms as well as the gymnasium.
The time span is 5:30 to 8 p.m.
The school is in the same building as West Middle School, with its entrance at 25 N. 20th St.
West Elementary is in its third year, having been created to take in students primarily from Whittier and Washington schools after they closed in 2009.
Game tickets can be bought in advance for a discount (5 for $1 or 60 for $10). Prices at the door will be 4 for $1 or 50 for $10. Five tickets will also buy a hot dog meal.
