OCCA members elect board for 2006; officer election to be Jan. 19
Election tallies were completed this week from the annual membership election for the 11 seats on the Old Colorado City
Associates (OCCA) board.
Re-elected were Nancy Stovall of Pine Creek Art Gallery, Theresa Barbera of Mountain Man Nut & Fruit, Mark Burris of Colorado City Creamery, Mike Garman of Michael Garman Gallery, Carole Jourdan of Nice 'N Naughty, Charlie Cagiao of Silver Moon Presents, Julie Fabrizio of Holly Leaf, Jim Heikes of Thunder Mountain Trading Company and Western Winds, Joe Pasture of Old Town Glassblowers and Howard Walters of Just for You. Newly elected was Don Wick of Old Town Guest House.
The board plans to elect officers at its next meeting Jan. 19, according to Stovall, OCCA executive director and (for the past three years) its president. The merchants' group organizes events and promotions in Old Colorado City.
