Holiday help for many Jackson students
Thanks to Principal Sarah Scott, her amazing staff and families of Chipeta Elementary School, along with Westside Cares, members of Rock Family Church, the Corvette Club, and Springs City Church, many children at Jackson Elementary School recently learned the joy of the holiday season. It was a lesson I'm sure they will never forget.
It was a hard year for many at Jackson, as well as for others in our community. The generous gifts of food, toys, books, and clothing couldn't have come at a better time. Imagine the delight in our children's eyes when they received boxes filled to the brim with much-needed hams, turkeys, canned goods, and stacks of gift cards. Chipeta even included wrapping paper for the families to wrap the presents for their children before the holidays began!
To say we are grateful is an understatement - we are overwhelmed by the generosity and the caring for our students and their families. We will be forever grateful! The thoughtfulness and outpouring of love for our children was the true message of the season.
